  Reminders

General

  • Always check the announcement board on your way in.
  • TUITION is due on the first day of each month. checks received after the fifth day will be required to pay a $25 late fee as will any checks returned for insufficient funds.

Attendance

  • All children must arrive by 9:00 am.
  • Part-time students are to be picked up by 12:30 pm unless other arrangements have been made.
  • Please call the school if your child will be late due to appointments or out sick.
  • Palmetto Montessori follows Charleston County schools for closings due to bad weather.

Clothes

  • Extra clothes and underwear (especially for those transitioning from diapers to toilet) must be left at school or brought in on a daily basis.
  • Unclaimed clothes will be left on the shelf by the front door. Please check them periodically for your child's belongings.

Lunches & Snacks

  • Pack spoons and forks in lunch boxes when needed please.
  • Extra juice is nice for those students that are late day pick ups.
  • Treat day is Friday ONLY.
  • No toys and such are to be brought to school. Only books for story time are welcome.

 
Heplful Tips

Please encourage your child to carry his or her own lunch box in and say good bye at the door. These little routine behaviors help them learn to be polite and responsible.


Spring's on the Way!

As the weather gets warmer, be sure that you have plenty of cooler clothes in your child's clothes bag.

Hot Spring days are on the way. Don't risk a sunburn! Please apply sunscreen to your child in the morning before school.
